PEG Proofreading and Copy Editing training programme

This programme is designed both to give newcomers to publishing and to the Group the opportunity to get themselves up and running, and productive, as quickly as possible and to enable members of longer standing to receive a "reality check" as to the level of their current knowledge and skills and also to update themselves regarding current trends in editing and proofreading.

The programme extends over three days:
Day 1: Proofreading
Day 2: Copy-editing
Day 3: 'Editing nuts and bolts': a toolkit for copy editors and proofreaders.
For further information email training@editors.org.za.

While PEG is not a training institution, it does try to make
available up-to-date information on education and training providers, set out at Where to train.

"Learning is like rowing
upstream: not to
advance is to drop back."
