Events

PEG holds a range of events during the year, at two-monthly intervals, to create networking opportunities for its members as well as to keep them informed and abreast of trends. Guest speakers are an important component of our annual programme, as are training sessions.

We welcome questions and suggestions about events, which can be directed to Isabelle Delvare at idelvare@yahoo.co.uk (Gauteng) or Kristina Davidson at kristina@netactive.co.za (Cape Town).

Forthcoming events
The Gauteng Branch of PEG is having a get-together on 13 March 2010

There will be a talk by Gerald de Villiers, author of the very useful style guide, Walking on Eggshells: Aspects of English Usage. He will speak about the process of writing this book, concentrating on the issue of language change and 'either/or usages'. This will be followed by the opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
