Membership fees
It is possible to join PEG at any time during the year, and our membership fee structure takes this into account. The annual membership fees, renewable in January, are:

For student members, proof is required of enrolment in a publishing studies course or similar; students are not eligible to be included in the Directory of Members’ Services.

Group Membership
This is an option for editors working inhouse for a single employer. Each member receives a 10–15% discount on the annual membership fee, depending on the size of the group (see the group application form). To sign up, complete a group membership application form.

Fee Reductions
If you join PEG during the year, the membership fee is reduced as follows:

• By 30% from 1 July
• By 50% from 1 November

Paying for the Year in Advance After 1 November
Members joining after 1 November also have the option of paying in advance for the following year at the current year’s rate. Details of the combined fees are given on the application form.

PEG Directory of Members’ Services (Optional)
The fee for inclusion in the 2010 directory is R120 per entry. If paid by the end of January, this entitles members to inclusion in both the print/CD and web versions; after January the fee covers insertion in only the web directory for the current year.
